Last Tuesday I received my Newegg order for my hot new PC. I spent a few hours cleaning my case and putting together the machine, I power up the new machine and I would get no display. After spending the rest of the week trying to figure out what was wrong or if I have recieved a dead item, I narrowed the problem down to the graphics card. During boot, my LCD poster would hang at “VGA Bios” followed by 1 long and 3 short beeps (Video Error). I swapped out the new graphics card (VisionTek ATI 4870) with the one my previous system was using (ATI x800) and everything worked perfectly!!! After spending countless hours trying to get the card to display something on boot I ended up filing an RMA with Newegg and I should be recieving it tomorrow.  What a pain…

So I have found a new app. (XBList) that lets you see your xbox360 friends on your PC, unfortunately there are no plug-ins for it to work with Pidgin. Raptr is another service I was checking out but it is still in beta and thus doesn’t seem to function the way I was hoping it would, though functionality between xbox360 and Steam seems pretty amazing.

With my new computer on the way, expect a handful of posts on some projects that I am/will be working on. In the meantime, back to practicing Concentric songs, for we will be recording a full length CD, September 22nd with Willy Porter. *Excitement*

Over the next couple weeks I will be slowly modifying the design and contents of this page and who knows, maybe my portfolio site will actually be linking you to this page. You never know!
